Cable Assembly Line Worker

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and inspect cables according to specifications outlined in mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Utilize various hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all cables are assembled to meet or exceed company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues that may arise during the assembly process.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in cable assembly or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings accurately.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed.

Cable Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Checks: Perform thorough inspections and quality checks on cable assemblies to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements.
  • Testing: Conduct electrical and mechanical testing on cables and assemblies using standard and specialized equipment.
  • Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Computer Programming: Program and utilize computer test programs to automate and enhance testing processes.
  • Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of other inspectors, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Inspection Requirements: Ensure compliance with FAI (First Article Inspection) and Source inspection requirements.
  • ISO Audits: Prepare for and conduct ISO audits, ensuring that inspection processes and documentation meet ISO standards.
  • Production Floor: Work on the production floor alongside assemblers, maintaining a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and address quality issues, providing solutions and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in cable inspection and cable assembly, with a strong understanding of quality control processes.
  • Education: Relevant technical certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings. Ability to conduct comprehensive electrical and mechanical testing.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with programming computer test programs and using inspection equipment.
  • Supervisory Skills: Previous experience supervising or leading a team of inspectors.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and work on the production floor among assemblers.
  • ISO Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO standards and experience preparing and conducting ISO audits.

Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and management.

Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary defense-related projects from contract stage through planning, development, production, delivery, and post-sale support.

The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external customers, ensuring all project milestones are met on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full project ownership from contract initiation through delivery and sustainment
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans in alignment with technical requirements, timelines, and budget constraints
  • Lead and coordinate ongoing project activities, including documentation, design reviews, status meetings, contract reviews, and executive reporting
  • Maintain close communication with clients and initiate opportunities for future collaboration
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and subcontractors

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering –preferred
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the defense or high-tech manufacturing industry – required
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies – required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with Priority ERP system – a strong advantage
